Title: What's a Private Walking Tour of Tokyo's Yanaka and Nezu Hidden Gems Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were visiting Japan from North America, staying in Tokyo before traveling on to Kyoto and Osaka and then returning home. This was a second trip to Japan for one of the guests, who had first visited eight years earlier, and the first visit for another. The guests had researched many hidden gems in advance to prepare for this trip. One of the guests had a strong interest in Japanese cinema, and we had a lively conversation about Akira Kurosawa's "Ikiru" and "Dreams," and Yasujiro Ozu's "Tokyo Story," including their distinctive camerawork. At the so-called "Nezu Ghost Steps," which are said to have a different number of steps going up than coming down, the guests actually walked up and down them, and one of the guests calmly explained the trick behind it.
