Tour Itinerary in Detail
The tour started at 10:00 at around Nishi-Nippori Station and ended at 18:30. The day ran to 8 hours and 30 minutes from start to finish.
Over the course of the day the route took in Tsukiji Outer Market at 10:30, Shibuya Crossing at 12:00, Meiji Shrine at 13:30, Stroll around Shibuya at 14:20 and Stroll around Nezu at 15:20.
What's a Full-Day Private Tsukiji, Shibuya, Meiji Shrine, and Shinjuku Walking Tour in Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
Before the tour, the guests had many requests, such as wanting to visit hidden backstreets rather than typical tourist spots, places to experience sumo, and areas like Shibuya and Shinjuku's Golden Gai. After meeting and discussing together, I took them to the Tsukiji Outer Market, Tsukiji Hongwanji Temple, the Shibuya Crossing, and then Meiji Shrine, where I explained the differences between Buddhism and Shinto and how each has influenced Japanese culture and the Japanese people. The guests seemed deeply moved by this.
At Meiji Shrine, they were delighted to purchase many amulets. They were also able to see a traditional Japanese wedding ceremony, which pleased them greatly.
I then took them to Shinjuku as requested, and we headed toward the Golden Gai area and beyond. Finally, we made our way to Nezu, where their accommodation was located, and I recommended nearby places worth visiting so they could return another day.
Perhaps because they were so satisfied, at the end they spent some time savoring the Japanese way of enjoying sake at an izakaya in Yanaka, and we concluded the tour there.

Atsushi-san was an incredibly well-researched and friendly tour guide. His knowledge allowed us to explore and get to the historical significance of the various locations we visited. His explanations were simple but comprehensive. The six hours flew by and included some off-the-beaten opportunities including coffee at a very austere but memorable location near the fish market. I would highly recommend him as well as this tour for anyone with limited time in Tokyo wanting see as much as possible

Our guide, Atsushi, was great! He met us at our hotel in Hakone and took us clockwise to tour all the sites. He was informative and taught us a lot. Our group was two adults and a 14 year old. We saw Mt Fuji from the rope way, but unfortunately the pirate ship was canceled because of high wind. We would absolutely use Atsushi again for this tour, or any other tour he provides.
