What Can You See on an 8-Hour Private Tour of West Tokyo? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were a group visiting from North America. It was their first time in Japan, having arrived the previous day, and they planned to spend about four days in Tokyo before continuing on a cruise around various parts of Japan for roughly two weeks.
Since they had further tours planned in Tokyo over the following days, we focused mainly on the western side of the city today to avoid overlapping destinations, visiting Tokyo Tower, Shinjuku Gyoen, Shinjuku, Meiji Shrine, Harajuku, and Shibuya. Fortunately, we were blessed with fine weather, and the guests enjoyed listening to explanations and taking photos at each spot. At Shinjuku Gyoen, some early-blooming cherry blossoms were out, which delighted them. They said lunch was delicious as well, and they seemed satisfied with the tour overall. It was a long, eight-hour tour, but the guests walked energetically throughout, completing the itinerary without any trouble.
At the end, when we returned to the Hotel and parted ways, they gave me some maple syrup from North America as a souvenir.

He asked for our visit priorities and designed an interesting and engaging tour over the several hours we spent together. This tour was beyond expectations! Haru, my tour guide, was knowledgeable, kind and friendly. I feel like I learned so much from him throughout the day! I loved that I was able to choose from so many different sightseeing options. I simply gave Haru my list of preferred places and he did the rest!
