From there the group visited Hotel Vischio Osaka at 09:40, Shinsaibashi at 10:00, Namba Yasaka Shrine at 11:00, Shinsekai at 12:00 and Osaka Castle at 12:50.
Travel between the sites was by public transport: Umeda to Shinsaibashi by subway (240JPY); Daikokucho to Dobutsuen-mae by subway (190JPY); Dobutsuen-mae to Tanimachi 4-chome by subway (240JPY). Across 3 sections the fare came to 670JPY per person.
Title: What's a Private Osaka Walking Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Dotonbori, Shinsekai, and Osaka Castle
The guests were visiting from North America. They had already purchased an Osaka Amazing Pass. However, during the tour they did not enter facilities such as Osaka Castle or Tsutenkaku Tower. In Dotonbori, we went down from Ebisu Bridge to the riverside riverwalk for commemorative photos, and toured Dotonbori Street, Hozenji Yokocho, and Sennichimae Street. At Namba Yasaka Shrine, the guests purchased a special New Year goshuin seal and commemorative matcha. In Shinsekai, they enjoyed a shooting gallery game. They considered going up Tsutenkaku Tower, but decided not to since they did not want to wait in line. We arrived at Osaka Castle a little early, and were able to watch a monkey performance in front of Hokoku Shrine. The guests dined on their own at Miraiza and then planned to continue sightseeing using their pass, so the tour ended a little earlier than scheduled.

Our guide, Harry, did an excellent job of showing us around Tokyo. He helped us navigate the train and subway systems. Had an excellent Japanese lunch and stopped at good local shopping venues. Harry also arranged which order we should do things in since I didn’t know how far apart the attractions we wanted to see were from each other. No way we could have navigated on our own, very pleased, highly recommend.
