What Is a Private Nagoya Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Nagoya Castle, Tokugawa Garden, and Shikemichi

Although the day brought continuous light rain, the guests enjoyed visiting Nagoya Castle, Tokugawa Garden & the Tokugawa Art Museum, and the Shikemichi area. At each site, they enjoyed seasonal blossoms such as the plum flowers beginning to bloom and camellias, and at Tokugawa Garden they viewed a special exhibition of winter peonies with great interest. The guests were also delighted by the atmosphere of the Shikemichi area, where warehouses dating back to the Edo period line the canal, and they spent a relaxing time enjoying a coffee break at a canal-side café and gallery. Because the meeting was delayed by about 20 minutes due to the guests' circumstances, I adjusted the finishing time at Nagoya Port slightly later, so I believe they were able to enjoy the entire planned itinerary at a comfortable pace.
