- 9:30-10:20 Takenaka Carpentry Tools Museum
- 10:30-11:30 Nunobiki Ropeway & Herb Garden
- 11:43-11:45 Shin-Kobe → Sannomiya 210 yen Subway
- 12:10-12:40 Animate Sannomiya Store
- 13:10-13:15 Confirm shuttle bus pickup location
- 13:40 Disband @ Gashoken Motomachi Store (Only guide customers into the store and leave)
What Can You See on a Private Kobe Day Tour? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were visiting from North America. Based on advance information that some of the guests had an interest in artistic things, I chose the Takenaka Carpentry Tools Museum and the Nunobiki Herb Garden. At the Takenaka Carpentry Tools Museum, the guests looked very intently at the history of the tools and the profiles of the craftsmen. As it was the middle of winter, there were almost no flowers in bloom at the Nunobiki Herb Garden, so they were only able to enjoy the scenery. Since the guests wanted to buy anime goods to take home, I guided them to an anime goods shop in Sannomiya, where they bought items related to My Hero Academia and Studio Ghibli. As they wanted to have a light meal, after showing them the bus stop for their return trip, I guided them to a ramen restaurant and took my leave there.

Andy(Atsushi) was great and communicated with us beforehand about our itinerary. He was flexible with changes we requested. Andy was very informative during the tour. He also was willing to take our family’s pictures. We were able to stop and check out shops as we pleased along the way. He also accommodated lunch requests(as our daughter has food allergies).
One thing I wish we realized was that there is quite a bit of walking. We were fine but for people who are perhaps older or with young children you may want to consider taking a cab between different sites.

Andy Murao was an amazing and wonderful tour guide. He reached out to us with some ideas for our private tour. He worked with us as we made the tour perfectly suited to our needs. He met us on time. He navigated the crowds and the sites perfectly. He was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot. He even put together a nice photo collection of photos he emailed us after. Highly recommend.
