Title: What Is a Private Day Tour of Shizuoka Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Mount Fuji Views

The guests were visiting Japan for the first time from North America, on a ten-day trip. Their itinerary began with arrival at Narita, then continued through Nagano, Toyama, Gifu, and Nagoya before visiting Shizuoka, with a return to Narita the following day. Shizuoka was their final destination.

The guests were scheduled to arrive at Shizuoka Station at 9:00 via Nagoya from Gifu, so I waited at Shizuoka Station from 8:30. However, there was a problem with their bullet train ticket during the transfer at Nagoya, and they arrived late at 10:30. Keeping strictly to the six-hour guiding time, I shifted the schedule and ended at 17:00. Since the total time on duty increased, I would appreciate consideration regarding the fee if possible.

In winter, Mount Fuji was clearly visible and the plum blossoms were in bloom. The guests enjoyed the refreshing air of Shizuoka.

My name is Terry Hirao, Shizuoka’s local tour guide. You can call me Terry, as in Teriyaki. I love Japan and Japanese culture and can show you the best of Japan, its history, breathtaking beauty, delicious foods, Japanese Tea. Shizoka is located in the middle of Tokyo and Kyoto/Osaka, two largest metropolitan cities and famous for Mt. Fuji, Japanese Tea and a lot more. The most popular destinations in Shizuoka are Nihon Daira Plateau, Kunozan Toshogu Shrines (National Treasure), Miho Pine Tree Grove (World Cultural Heritage). I hope I can help you enjoy your trip!!
