Satomi

Hi, I am Satomi. I started guiding about 6 years ago. Since then, I have been enjoying wonderful tours with a lot of people from abroad.
What would you like to experience in Japan? Nature? Food? History? I live in Seki city, Gifu prefecture. It is rich in nature. It has a great history.
Do you like samurai? I am learning about samurai swords now. Seki city, where I live used to be one of the famous producing areas of Japanese swords.
Are you interested in samurai? In samurai period, they had to walk all the way to Edo, current Tokyo from their territory. In Gifu, you can walk on the trail, Nakasendo highway. A lot of samurai walked on Nakasendo highway in those days. I love to walk on Nakasendo trail! I want to experience something exciting with you!
