Title: What Is a Private One-Day Kyoto Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Kinkaku-ji, Nishiki Market, and Fushimi Inari

The guests were a group visiting from Oceania. After traveling to Tokyo, Kanazawa, and Takayama, they arrived in Kyoto yesterday. It was everyone's first visit to Kyoto. I took the group to Kinkaku-ji, Nishiki Market, and Fushimi Inari Shrine. Because we visited Kinkaku-ji first thing in the morning (30 minutes after opening), there were not many visitors yet, which was ideal. However, Nishiki Market afterward was so crowded with foreign travelers, and being the end of the year, it was difficult to move around. Fushimi Inari after lunch was also quite crowded with foreign travelers. This time, I made sure to allow plenty of time especially at Nishiki Market, where the guests purchased souvenirs, sampled Japanese sake, and enjoyed strawberry ice cream. The guests commented that although Fushimi Inari was too crowded, they liked Kinkaku-ji very much. They also said that even though Nishiki Market was crowded, it was great. After the tour, the guests wanted to go to a shopping area, so I took them to Shinkyogoku and said goodbye there.
