- 2. 08:05～08:25 By bus (Red Line) to Kubota Itchiku Art Museum
- 3. 08:30～09:40 ＠ Stroll the autumn foliage corridor on foot, ＠ Visit the Autumn Leaves Festival venue
- 4. 09:40～10:00 By bus to Oishi Park
- 5. 10:00～10:30 ＠ Stroll Oishi Park
- 6. 10:40～11:00 By bus to Kawaguchiko Station
- 7. 11:25～13:30 Join the Twin Terrace Tour
- 8. 13:30～14:00 Lunch ＠ Tourist Base Kawaguchiko
- 9. 14:10～14:30 By Fujikyu from Kawaguchiko to Shimoyoshida
- 10. 14:30～15:15 ＠ Arakurayama Sengen Shrine (Chureito Pagoda)
- 10. 15:30 Disband ＠ Shimoyoshida Station
What Is a Private Mount Fuji Tour Like from a Licensed Guide? A Fuji Area Tour Report
The guests were visitors from North America. They had been to Japan a few times before, but it was their first time in the Fuji area. Since I had gone to greet them at their hotel the evening before, everything went smoothly on the day of the tour. The weather was excellent and Mount Fuji was clearly visible, so I invited them to join a local tour (the Twin Terrace Tour), and they were able to view Mount Fuji from a vantage point at an elevation of 1,600 meters. The guests were delighted and said it would be a lifelong memory.
As a keepsake, I presented them with a pair of Mount Fuji sake cups, which they were also very pleased to receive.
From here it was on a private basis, but after the tour ended we shared dinner together, and I took them to a restaurant serving delicious houtou, a local regional dish, which they also seemed to thoroughly enjoy.

We had a great time. Our guide Meiji “May” made our day memorable. Excellent sites and great food, May is very knowledgeable of the sites, has very good English and had very nice details during the tour. Ahh and he has all the nice spots for pictures identified. The restaurant he took us for lunch was excellent, we tried an amazing hoto udon.

We had an incredible time exploring Tokyo with our guide, May! He was friendly, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable, making every stop interesting with fascinating stories and local insights. His enthusiasm for Tokyo was contagious, and he really helped us curate this tour to fit our interests and make it our own.
The tour was well organized and included a great mix of iconic sights and hidden gems that we never would have discovered on our own. May also shared excellent recommendations for restaurants, shopping, and things to do after the tour, which made the rest of our stay even better. He even remembered that we were celebrating our honeymoon and helped us celebrate in a very memorable way, making the tour that much more special.
