- 1. 10:00 Meet up ＠Lavista Kawaguchiko
- 2. 10:05～11:00 Walk to see the autumn leaves corridor and the autumn leaves festival venue
- 3. 11:00～11:20 Bus (Red Line) to Funatsuhama
- 4. 11:30～13:30 ＠Board the Kawaguchiko sightseeing boat, ＠Kachikachi Yama Ropeway
- 5. 13:30～13:45 Bus to Oki
- 6. 13:45～14:15 Lunch＠Kinzo
- 7. 14:15～14:30 Bus to Kawaguchiko Station
- 8. 14:30～14:50 Fujikyuko Line to Shimoyoshida
- 9. 15:00～16:00 ＠Arakurayama Sengen Shrine (Chureito Pagoda)
- 10. 16:00～16:20 Kawaguchiko Station
- 16:30 Disband＠Kawaguchiko Station
What Is a Private Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi Autumn Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were visitors from North America. It was their first time traveling to Japan, including the Mount Fuji area, and they were very much looking forward to it. The Lake Kawaguchi area was lively with the autumn foliage festival being held there. The tour began with a stroll through the maple corridor, which was one of the highlights, followed by the festival grounds, a sightseeing boat, and a ropeway, allowing the guests to fully enjoy sightseeing around Lake Kawaguchi. Finally, I took them to Chureito Pagoda (Arakurayama Sengen Shrine), which has recently gained recognition and popularity among inbound visitors, where they were able to see the majestic Mount Fuji. As a keepsake, I gave them a Mount Fuji-shaped sake cup glass, which they were very happy to receive. Later, they contacted me via a messaging app and said they were already missing Japan! Overall, I believe they were very satisfied.

We had a great time. Our guide Meiji “May” made our day memorable. Excellent sites and great food, May is very knowledgeable of the sites, has very good English and had very nice details during the tour. Ahh and he has all the nice spots for pictures identified. The restaurant he took us for lunch was excellent, we tried an amazing hoto udon.

We had an incredible time exploring Tokyo with our guide, May! He was friendly, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable, making every stop interesting with fascinating stories and local insights. His enthusiasm for Tokyo was contagious, and he really helped us curate this tour to fit our interests and make it our own.
The tour was well organized and included a great mix of iconic sights and hidden gems that we never would have discovered on our own. May also shared excellent recommendations for restaurants, shopping, and things to do after the tour, which made the rest of our stay even better. He even remembered that we were celebrating our honeymoon and helped us celebrate in a very memorable way, making the tour that much more special.
