What Is a Private Kyoto Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Fushimi Inari, Kyoto Imperial Palace, and Nijo Castle

The guests were visitors from the Middle East. Before their current life in the Middle East, one had roots in Asia. At Fushimi Inari, some of the guests wanted to buy food from the street stalls, so we took a little time there. Also, after boarding the JR line, one of the guests lost a ticket, which caused a delay in exiting Enmachi Station, so the schedule fell behind. As a result, there was a risk of not making it in time for the final admission to Nijo Castle. For that reason, at the Kyoto Imperial Palace, apart from taking photos, I guided the group around almost without stopping to walk. Thanks to everyone's cooperation, we managed to arrive and begin the tour just before the final reception time of 4:00. The tour ended right after leaving Nijo Castle. The group returned to their hotel by taxi. The photo was taken at Kinkaku-ji. Had lunch been shortened by another method, I think there would have been a bit more time to spare.
