Miyajima and Hiroshima Private Tour Report: What Can You See in Autumn with a Licensed Guide?

The guests were visitors from North America. They had researched Hiroshima sightseeing in advance, and Daishoin Temple and the Orizuru Tower were on their list. The autumn foliage on Miyajima that day was superb, and at Daishoin Temple they were satisfied to see both the colorful leaves and the 500 Rakan statues they had come for. Since they disliked crowds, we walked from Daishoin Temple through the mountain path to Momijidani Park, enjoying the autumn leaves along the way. For souvenirs, they bought a rice scoop and personalized chopsticks with their names engraved. Both of them love ramen and had joined a tour in Tokyo visiting several ramen shops, and miso ramen was their favorite. They said that eating ramen in North America costs at least twenty dollars, so they wanted to eat as much as possible while in Japan, and so we chose ramen for lunch. As the day went on, I realized they were quite passionate enthusiasts: it had been a dream to eat at a shop with individual partitioned seats like the ramen shop that day, they loved Studio Ghibli so much that their wedding cake had been a groom's cake covered in Ghibli characters, and they wanted to shop for character goods to their heart's content in Akihabara. They were a lovely group, and the weather, temperature, autumn foliage, and level of crowds all made for a comfortable trip.
