Private Osaka Tour Report: What Is a Full-Day Guided Visit to Sumiyoshi Taisha and Kuromon Market Like?
The guests were a group visiting Japan, arriving together via Asia. One of the guests was very cheerful and delighted everyone by recalling Japanese words and cultural traditions passed down through the family from earlier generations, sharing them and bringing laughter to the whole group. At Sumiyoshi Taisha, the place they most wanted to visit, I caught a warm and touching moment as one of the guests quietly bought a pair of cat charms and passed one to another member of the group. Afterward, I guided the hungry guests to Kuromon Market, where we all took a group selfie before parting ways.

Sachiko was our tour guide and she is one of the best we have had. Not only did she show us Osaka in the rain, she went above and stayed with us 45 minutes past the tour time to make sure she brought us back to our hotel and taught us the trains to take and the restaurants around. We highly appreciate her.

I enjoyed seeing Osaka through Sachiko’s eyes and experience. She showed me what was special about Osaka, answered my numerous questions about life in this city and in Japan. The tour was long enough to see the city and although it rained throughout the day, I had a very nice time. I would recommend Sachiko and TripAdvisor to friends

Sachiko or Choko Ogura is a fantastic guide who not only explained the importance but also the backgrounds and histories in details of the locations we visited.
She is extremely proficient in English but is lovely lady with very helpful and pleasant nature. She guided us about what to do and what not to do.
