Title: What's a Private One-Day Kyoto Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Fushimi Inari, Kinkaku-ji, and Arashiyama

The guests came from North America. Since their hotel was near Kiyomizu-Gojo on the Keihan Line, we first took the Keihan train to Fushimi Inari. When they mentioned they had never drawn an omikuji fortune, they each drew one. It was a tense moment for me as a guide as well. Luckily, one guest drew "great blessing" and the other drew "later blessing," so I felt relieved. When we visited a shrine near Mount Fuji (I believe it was Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine), one of the guests kept saying how beautiful the green moss on top of the stone lanterns was. When I asked if they liked moss, they said they loved it, so after Kinkaku-ji, we decided to visit Gio-ji Temple. Personally, since I had an errand in the city of Kyoto in the evening, I didn't mind if we parted a little later than usual. Around the bamboo grove it started to get a bit dark, and one of the guests was getting tired, so we caught a taxi near Togetsukyo Bridge and returned to the hotel. One of the guests mentioned that the scenery was so beautiful that they took too many photos and the phone battery ran out. Around the Kiyomizu area, the guests purchased a kimono-fabric pouch, and at a pottery shop they bought a tea bowl and small plates for tens of thousands of yen.

I’m Ryoichi Kazuma and my nickname is “Kazz”. I live in Kyotanabe city next to Kyoto city. I want guests to enjoy Kyoto by seeing and experiencing not only from outside but also from inside. I offer various information from daily matters to traditional cultures. Most destinations in Kyoto are located on the eastern side or the western side. As I want to guide guests to as many destinations as possible, I make an efficient itinerary and recommend a taxi use to save time. Additionally, I take pictures at various spots and finally share the link to my storage. By doing so, guests can download their favorite pictures from my storage. Please enjoy Kyoto night and day!
