Over the course of the day the route took in Osaka Castle at 10:00, Shitennoji Temple at 12:00, Shinsekai (LUNCH) at 13:15 and Kuromon Market at 14:55.
Travel between the sites was by public transport: Higashi-Umeda to Tanimachi 4-chome by subway (240JPY); Tanimachi 4-chome to Shitennoji-mae Yuhigaoka by subway (190JPY); Shitennoji-mae Yuhigaoka to Dobutsuen-mae by subway (190JPY); Dobutsuen-mae to Ebisucho by subway (190JPY). Across 4 sections the fare came to 810JPY per person.
What Does a Private Walking Tour of Osaka Look Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Osaka Castle, Shitennoji, Shinsekai, and Kuromon Market
The guests were a group visiting from Asia. I guided them to Osaka Castle, Shitennoji Temple, Shinsekai, and Kuromon Market. The guests had reportedly been told by the agency they booked through that the tour would be by chauffeured car, so I explained that this was a walking tour, and we began after they understood and agreed. At Osaka Castle, the autumn leaves had started to change, and they thoroughly enjoyed the beautifully colored trees. Shitennoji Temple was, as always, uncrowded and had a calm atmosphere, so we were able to look around at a leisurely pace. In Shinsekai, we had lunch together. We talked about many things and had a wonderful time, laughing a lot. Finally, I took them to Kuromon Market, where the tour concluded.

Yuko San is one of the best tour guides we have had on our tour to Japan. We spent a good 4 hours with her in Osaka covering the Osaka Castle, the Shitennō-ji Temple, and ended with a delicious local lunch at Shinsekai.
Her knowledge about the region was very good. What set her apart was her politeness and mannerisms.
I would recommend Yuko San as a tour guide.

Yuko was great at guiding us everywhere and explaining all the different ways to buy tickets so it was affordable and most convenient for our family. They also stopped to explain facts of the areas we were in and took so many family photos for us. She always made sure we were close by her when around large crowds. Very friendly and lovely to get to know. Highly recommend this guide!
