Title: What Is a Private One-Day Himeji Castle Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests today were visitors currently living and working in Japan, and they came from Hiroshima for the tour. They have lived in Japan for a total of nine years, though not continuously. We had arranged to meet at 9:15 at the Shinkansen ticket gate, but they did not appear. When I contacted them, they had already gone outside the station. In any case, we were able to meet safely, so we began the tour.

I gave a brief explanation of Himeji Castle at Castle View, then bought discounted round-trip tickets for the bus and ropeway at the bus center, and we visited Himeji Castle, Koko-en Garden, and Engyo-ji Temple on Mount Shosha. There were many tourists at every site today. However, because we had lunch at Engyo-ji rather than at Koko-en, we were able to move around relatively smoothly.

At the end of the tour, the guests wanted to buy souvenirs for colleagues and also wanted to try akashiyaki, so we bought many items such as tamatsubaki sweets at Iseya near Himeji Station, purchased takeaway akashiyaki at another shop, and returned to Himeji Station to end the tour. The guests appeared to be satisfied with today's tour.
