Title: What Is a Private Two-Day Tokyo Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Day 2
The second day of a two-day private Tokyo tour arranged through [Japan Guide Agency (JGA Inc.)](https://www.j-g-a.org/) took place under occasional light rain, so I adjusted the schedule so that we could visit places difficult to see with an umbrella during the times the forecast predicted breaks of sunshine. First, although it was not originally planned, we visited Zojoji Temple and Tokyo Tower, where the guests took a great many photographs. After that, I guided them to Roppongi (Roppongi Hills, the National Art Center, and Tokyo Midtown Roppongi) as places where they could spend time indoors. The guests were very fond of fine dining and had researched and reserved restaurants featured in the Michelin Guide even before arriving in Japan. The previous evening they had enjoyed dinner at a small Japanese restaurant in Shibuya called "Kuhara," which had received a Michelin Bib Gourmand in the Michelin Guide 2023 and 2024. Since the guests had a reservation at a French restaurant in Ginza for this evening's dinner, they wished to keep lunch light. At Sushi Zanmai in Tsukiji, they tried tekka-maki and negitoro-maki and seemed very satisfied. Also, when I introduced Japanese ochazuke at Tokyo Midtown in Roppongi, they listened with great interest to my explanation. The afternoon rain did not grow stronger, and we were able to stroll through Koishikawa Korakuen Garden, which had been one of their original requests. During our various conversations along the way, the guests shared that they had experience in figure skating, and that although they had no children, they kept and dearly loved three cats, along with lovely photographs of the garden at their home. It was an enjoyable time in which our senses of humor matched perfectly.

It was a GREAT TOUR with Noripy! With a family of many different ages and walking levels this was fantastic. We were picked up from our cruise in Yokohama and dropped off at Haneda airport. We had about 10 hours before our flight and it went flawlessly.

Noripy was excellent! She guided us through several parts of the city: Imperial Palace, Tokyo Station, Tokyo Tower, Sangedatsumon, Zojo-ji, Meiji Jingu, and Golden Gai. A great way to see many Tokyo sites and get acquainted with the city on your first day!

She provided useful instruction for public transport use, fascinating historical information, spiritual customs and current cultural practices- All with an infectious smile and never ending positive energy. Noripy’s tour allowed us to made the most of the rest of our time in Tokyo. I feel like we did 5 days of sightseeing in 6 hrs! But Noripy made sure to always check if we wanted a break.
