Title: What Is a Private Day Tour of Kyoto Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Kinkaku-ji, Ryoan-ji, and Nijo Castle

The guests visited Japan from Europe. We were able to meet at the hotel a little earlier than planned, so we made the JR train from Kyoto Station in good time. Everything went very smoothly afterwards as well. The guests walked well throughout, which was a great help. For lunch we went to a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant right next to Wara Tenjin. The guests love sushi and enjoyed their meal very much. They mentioned that in Europe, immigration is accepted at the EU level, so the working population does not seem to be declining as much as in Japan. They were impressed that Japanese streets have no litter and are extremely clean. The weather improved, and they took many photos in various places. At many sites there were more and more school excursion students and elementary school children on field trips (especially at Kinkaku-ji and Nijo Castle). The tour ended after the visit to Nijo Castle was nearly finished, as the guests took a rest on a bench in the garden within the castle grounds. The photo was taken at Ryoan-ji.

I was born and grew up in Kyoto and now live near Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto. I used to be a schoolteacher of English and welcome a lot of students from foreign countries.
