Tokyo Private Tour Report: A Licensed Guide's Full-Day Itinerary of Ueno, Asakusa, Meiji Shrine, Harajuku, and Shibuya
The guests were a group visiting Japan. One of them had visited Japan before for work, but this was their first time sightseeing here, and it was the first visit to Japan for others in the group. Among themselves, the guests conversed in German and Spanish. Originally from different regions, the guests now reside in Europe. They wanted to hear guide explanations focused on historically significant places, so we visited Ueno Toshogu Shrine, Sensoji Temple, and Meiji Shrine as they had requested. During our travels, the guests continuously asked a wide variety of questions about history and Japanese society, and I explained as much as I could. For lunch, I took them to a casual, down-to-earth restaurant where you can enjoy a chanko set meal at a relatively reasonable price. They ordered the chanko set meal and a karaage set meal, and finished everything, saying "Delicious!" After visiting Meiji Shrine, on the way toward Takeshita Street in Harajuku, the guests showed strong interest in a soccer goods section that caught their eye, and one of the guests purchased a Japan national team jersey. Of course, on Takeshita Street, the whole group cheered with delight at a mini-pig cafe. After that, we first confirmed the location of a commercial facility in Harajuku where the guests were to meet a Japanese friend they had gotten to know in Europe, and then, to enjoy the roughly hour before the meeting time after the tour ended, I guided them to Shibuya, which we added to the original plan. They were thrilled at the Scramble Crossing, and one of the guests filmed video enthusiastically. It seems to have been an enjoyable day for the group's family trip to Japan.

It was a GREAT TOUR with Noripy! With a family of many different ages and walking levels this was fantastic. We were picked up from our cruise in Yokohama and dropped off at Haneda airport. We had about 10 hours before our flight and it went flawlessly.

Tokyo in 4 hours
Noripy was excellent! She guided us through several parts of the city: Imperial Palace, Tokyo Station, Tokyo Tower, Sangedatsumon, Zojo-ji, Meiji Jingu, and Golden Gai. A great way to see many Tokyo sites and get acquainted with the city on your first day!

Lovely experience. My guide was an absolutely adorable lady who managed to fit all the iconic Tokyo spots into my 6-hour tour without anything feeling rushed. She was knowledgeable, organised, and genuinely kind. Toward the end she even helped me with some shopping, which I really appreciated. She provided useful instruction for public transport use, fascinating historical information, spiritual customs and current cultural practices- All with an infectious smile and never ending positive energy. Noripy’s tour allowed us to made the most of the rest of our time in Tokyo. I feel like we did 5 days of sightseeing in 6 hrs! But Noripy made sure to always check if we wanted a break. Our tour was customized for my 2 teenage kids and I, and if we saw or thought of something along the way that interested us, Noripy accommodated!
