Tour Itinerary
- 8:45 Meet at Shimbashi Blossom Hibiya. 8:55 Take a taxi from Shimbashi to the Arashio sumo stable in Nihonbashi Hamacho. 9:10 Watch sumo practice, take commemorative photos with the wrestlers. 9:45 Hamacho ~ 10:05 Asakusa. Photograph Tokyo Skytree from Sumida Park. Kaminarimon, shopping at Nakamise, commemorative photos with kabuki actor statues. After visiting Sensoji Temple, souvenir shopping. Asakusa ~ 11:50 Tokyo Station, tour of the Daimaru department store basement food floor, tour of the Tokyo Station building on the Marunouchi side. 12:20 Take the Yurikamome from Shimbashi to see the Statue of Liberty at Odaiba. 14:00 After lunch, view the Gundam statue. Odaiba ~ 14:40 Shimbashi Station. Since the husband had urgent work come up, we parted ways at Shimbashi Station near the hotel. A total 5 hour 55 minute tour.

The guests enjoyed watching sumo and taking commemorative photos with the wrestlers. In Asakusa, unlike other guests, they took a particular interest in shopping for souvenirs for family and unique T-shirts for themselves. For the Yurikamome line, we let one train pass and the group sat together in the very front seats of the leading car, enjoying the surrounding scenery.
This time we had also planned to visit places like Harajuku, but that is not feasible within 6 hours. Due to the schedule of one of the guests, we ended within the allotted time. In 6 hours it is generally not possible to do proper sightseeing in the city. A minimum of 8 hours is needed for a full day of sightseeing, and it is puzzling that requests for 8 hours are not made. With a 2-hour extension, since there is no established procedure for handling it, it tends to become unpaid volunteer work for the guide. As a souvenir, I presented them with a Mount Fuji glass.

Mr Akey showed me an amazing time in Hakone. He planned out a very detailed itinerary based completely on my interests. The hot spring onsen was just what I needed to relax after long travel and a day of walking around the day before. I was hesitant to do the ropeway due to my fear of heights, but am so glad I went. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and I was lucky enough to have a clear enough day to get some incredible views of Mt Fuji. Highly recommend.

You can tailor make this to anything you want and the guide delivered exactly what we asked for, along with some extras and very good commentary to explain it all. Only thing is be prepared to travel on subway which can take some time, so make sure what you want to see is geographically close to maximise your sight-seeing.
