What Is a Private Day Tour of Nikko Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Toshogu, Kanmangafuchi, and the Tamozawa Imperial Villa

The guests were visiting from North America. They initially requested Kegon Falls, but when I explained that it would require separate transportation and that traffic congestion was a concern, they preferred to go elsewhere. I suggested Kanmangafuchi Abyss and the Tamozawa Imperial Villa as alternatives, and we visited those during the afternoon portion of the itinerary. Toshogu Shrine was quite crowded with many tour groups, but we were able to see all the main areas. After lunch, the guests enjoyed souvenirs and desserts at shops along the West Approach, and then we walked to Kanmangafuchi Abyss. At the Tamozawa Imperial Villa that followed, we were fortunate not to overlap with any tour groups, allowing the guests to fully enjoy the beautiful nature and tranquility.
