Title: What Is a Private Nikko Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were visitors from Oceania on their first trip to Japan. Before the tour, the mountains were not visible and I was worried the weather might not cooperate, but the clouds cleared around the Irohazaka slopes, and they enjoyed the scenery in just the right climate. Because road conditions were good, I was able to take them to Yudaki Falls, which had not originally been included in the plan. They had already spent two weeks in Japan before Nikko, visiting sightseeing spots around the country, but they were delighted to say that the soba I took them to for lunch was the most delicious dish they had had so far. They listened with great interest to stories about Japanese history and culture, and it seemed they enjoyed the tour throughout, which was the best possible outcome.

Hello! I’m Yoko.
I live in Tochigi Prefecture about 40 years and currently based in Utsunomiya, city near Nikko.
I’m a mother of two kids, and a beagle dog.
Also I’ve lived in Tennessee for 3 years until 2020.
I was always happy whenever introducing Japanese culture to local people while living in US.
Now I’m so excited to introduce you various attractions here in Japan.
I love traveling, nature, food, Kimono, tea ceremony, manga etc.
I’m looking forward to showing my guests beautiful places and interesting things related to my neighbor area.
Let’s explore and have fun with me!
