What Does a Full-Day Private Walking Tour of Central Tokyo Cover? A Licensed Guide's Report

The tour with [Japan Guide Agency (JGA Inc.)](https://www.j-g-a.org/) proceeded smoothly through Hamarikyu Gardens, Meiji Shrine, Takeshita Street, the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace, and Nezu Shrine. Partway through, one of the guests began to have trouble with an ankle (which had been twisted after slipping in the rain the previous day), so walking became slower. We bought a compress and pain relief medicine at a drugstore in Nezu, and at the end they took a taxi from Nezu back to the Hotel. At Hamarikyu Gardens, the guests listened to a staff member explain the falconry room in English and seemed very interested. The matcha at the teahouse in the middle of the garden was skipped because it was crowded. Before entering Takeshita Street, we had ramen for lunch, and the guests were delighted, saying that Japanese ramen is delicious.
