Title: What Is a Private Himeji Castle and Engyoji Temple Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were a cheerful group visiting Japan for the first time. They were close friends who had traveled and sightseen together in various places before. Since one of the guests found it difficult to climb stairs, at Engyoji Temple on Mount Shosha we avoided stairs as much as possible and leisurely explored the Maniden Hall and the Mitsunodo (three halls). Afterward, we descended the mountain, got off the bus in front of Koko-en Garden, and had lunch at Kassuiken inside Koko-en. Kassuiken was very crowded, so we took a stroll while waiting for our turn. After lunch, we headed to Himeji Castle, where one of the guests went up to the second floor of the main keep while the others went all the way up to the top floor. There happened to be a live music band concert, and the area around Himeji Castle was very crowded, but this seemed to add to the experience as something special. The guests said every place we visited was wonderful, and they also seemed very satisfied with the meal at Kassuiken.

magnifiques. Seule précaution : il y beaucoup de marches avec des escaliers raides , il faut
être dans une forme raisonnable.

Rie is a terrific guide! She worked diligently with us as we planned our day in Himeji, and ensured we could fully enjoy ourselves as we spent the day with her. She brings a very warm, friendly and informative spirit to her work, and she was sensitive to our limitations on climbing the steep castle stairs, although she is quite capable herself in scaling various sites. Rie also has a nice sense of humor, which is so helpful when one spends a full day with a guide. As a bonus, Rie showed us her many favorite photo spots. We strongly recommend Rie, as she is one of the best guides we have worked with in our global travels. Thank you for a memorable day!
