Title: What Is a Private Harajuku Animal Cafe Tour in Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
This was the second day of a private Tokyo tour with the same guests as the previous day, arranged through [Japan Guide Agency (JGA Inc.)](https://www.j-g-a.org/). At the guests' request, we pushed the morning meeting time back by 30 minutes for a relaxed start. Having worn sandals the day before, one of the guests switched to sneakers today, and it seemed our walking pace picked up a bit as a result. The highlight of the day was the piglet cafe and cat cafe in Harajuku. From our earlier exchanges, the guests had expressed a wish not merely to glance through the window but to actually go inside and interact with the animals, so for the popular piglet cafe I made a reservation in advance to secure same-day entry. The guests were thoroughly delighted, and one of them was especially happy with as many as five piglets resting on their lap. At first I told the guests, "I'm a little scared, so I'll wait outside," but I was warmly encouraged with, "It's fine, let's go in together! They're really adorable. I love little piglets," so I mustered my courage and joined them. The piglets had been trained, much like cats, to relieve themselves in a designated spot. One after another, the people entering seemed to be visitors from overseas. Seeing a "fully booked" sign go up and a crowd of inbound guests gathering in front of it to watch and take photos, I once again felt just how popular the place is. For lunch, I guided the guests to a nearby vegan restaurant, but there was a very long line there as well. We gave up and, by chance, found a shop specializing in hand-rolled sushi. It was delicious, and although the guests did not eat the seaweed, saying they were not fond of it, they thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Afterward, the guests also enjoyed the cat cafe. They were a bit calmer than at the piglet cafe, but kept smiling throughout, and it turned out to be a day full of unique experiences in Japan.

It was a GREAT TOUR with Noripy! With a family of many different ages and walking levels this was fantastic. We were picked up from our cruise in Yokohama and dropped off at Haneda airport. We had about 10 hours before our flight and it went flawlessly.

Tokyo in 4 hours
Noripy was excellent! She guided us through several parts of the city: Imperial Palace, Tokyo Station, Tokyo Tower, Sangedatsumon, Zojo-ji, Meiji Jingu, and Golden Gai. A great way to see many Tokyo sites and get acquainted with the city on your first day!

Lovely experience. My guide was an absolutely adorable lady who managed to fit all the iconic Tokyo spots into my 6-hour tour without anything feeling rushed. She was knowledgeable, organised, and genuinely kind. Toward the end she even helped me with some shopping, which I really appreciated. She provided useful instruction for public transport use, fascinating historical information, spiritual customs and current cultural practices- All with an infectious smile and never ending positive energy. Noripy’s tour allowed us to made the most of the rest of our time in Tokyo. I feel like we did 5 days of sightseeing in 6 hrs! But Noripy made sure to always check if we wanted a break. Our tour was customized for my 2 teenage kids and I, and if we saw or thought of something along the way that interested us, Noripy accommodated!
