- 14:20 Lunch in front of Himeji Castle
- 14:50 Stroll through Kokoen Garden
- 15:05 Leave Kokoen Garden and head to Himeji Station
- 15:40 In front of Himeji Station, disband

Over the course of the day the route took in Himeji Castle, sightseeing at 12:00, Stroll through Kokoen Garden at 14:50, Leave Kokoen Garden and head to Himeji Station at 15:05 and In front of Himeji Station, disband at 15:40.
What Is a Private Day Trip from Tokyo to Himeji Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were visitors from Asia. They came to Himeji as a day trip from Tokyo and were scheduled to return home the following day. Some of the guests eagerly took photos of many spots, while others asked many questions about the Edo period and the Meiji Restoration.
After leaving the castle, the guests wanted to eat karaage bento, so we bought lunch boxes in front of the castle, ate, and took a break. Afterward we strolled through Koko-en Garden. At first the guests were not particularly interested in the garden, but once inside Koko-en they were moved by the scenery of the plants, waterfalls, and ponds, and took many photos.
Finally, as we walked toward the station, we had a lively conversation about the different cultures and customs of Japan and their home country, and we said a fond farewell at the station.

Excellent tour avec une guide compétente et dynamique. Le château et le parc sont
magnifiques. Seule précaution : il y beaucoup de marches avec des escaliers raides , il faut
être dans une forme raisonnable.

ひとつ注意点を挙げるとすれば、急な階段が多く、かなりの段数を上り下りするため、ある程度の体力が必要です。

Rie is a terrific guide! She worked diligently with us as we planned our day in Himeji, and ensured we could fully enjoy ourselves as we spent the day with her. She brings a very warm, friendly and informative spirit to her work, and she was sensitive to our limitations on climbing the steep castle stairs, although she is quite capable herself in scaling various sites. Rie also has a nice sense of humor, which is so helpful when one spends a full day with a guide. As a bonus, Rie showed us her many favorite photo spots. We strongly recommend Rie, as she is one of the best guides we have worked with in our global travels. Thank you for a memorable day!
