Title: What Is a Private Full-Day Tokyo Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were a group visiting Japan for the first time from Europe, arriving on a gift trip. Some of the group departed from Europe and stayed a few nights in Asia before arriving in Tokyo, while another member of the group traveled directly from Europe on the morning of the tour day and joined them. Since they had not had breakfast, we started the tour at noon, and after visiting the Imperial Palace as the first stop, we moved straight to Roppongi Midtown for lunch. It was a purely Japanese set meal, and everyone in the group loved it and found it delicious. Seeing the neatly emptied rice bowls, even the restaurant staff were surprised and delighted. Above all, they were amazed at how inexpensive dining out in Japan is compared to the high prices of Japanese restaurants back home. When I introduced several of the shops within the commercial facility where we had lunch, they had initially declared that they would not do any shopping at all, but the tastings at a specialty dashi shop were so delicious that they ended up buying a lot of dashi. Furthermore, during a visit to a supermarket, they purchased "genmaicha," a roasted brown rice green tea they had enjoyed drinking back home. Beyond what they saw, many questions came up about Japanese history and diplomatic relations with other countries (especially the relationship with China). In addition to my explanations as the guide, there was a lively exchange of opinions among the group, which reflected the high intellectual level of the guests.

It was a GREAT TOUR with Noripy! With a family of many different ages and walking levels this was fantastic. We were picked up from our cruise in Yokohama and dropped off at Haneda airport. We had about 10 hours before our flight and it went flawlessly.

Noripy was excellent! She guided us through several parts of the city: Imperial Palace, Tokyo Station, Tokyo Tower, Sangedatsumon, Zojo-ji, Meiji Jingu, and Golden Gai. A great way to see many Tokyo sites and get acquainted with the city on your first day!

Lovely experience. My guide was an absolutely adorable lady who managed to fit all the iconic Tokyo spots into my 6-hour tour without anything feeling rushed. She was knowledgeable, organised, and genuinely kind. Toward the end she even helped me with some shopping, which I really appreciated. She provided useful instruction for public transport use, fascinating historical information, spiritual customs and current cultural practices- All with an infectious smile and never ending positive energy. Noripy’s tour allowed us to made the most of the rest of our time in Tokyo. I feel like we did 5 days of sightseeing in 6 hrs! But Noripy made sure to always check if we wanted a break. Our tour was customized for my 2 teenage kids and I, and if we saw or thought of something along the way that interested us, Noripy accommodated!
