What Is a Private Kyoto Walking Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Arashiyama and Sanjusangendo

The guest was visiting Japan for the second time from Africa. The guest mentioned that their ancestors came from Europe, but it was a long time ago and the details were unclear. While traveling through countries in Asia before coming to Japan, the guest seemed to have had a stomach upset and joined the tour without breakfast. There were moments of concern when the guest needed to spend a long time at the restroom along the way, but they were able to continue the tour to the end. During the guiding, the guest often asked questions unrelated to the sites we were visiting, which made it a little difficult to keep up my rhythm. There were even some points I was unable to fully explain. The guest asked many questions across a wide range of topics, including Japanese daily life, education, history, politics, and food. Partly because of this, the tour fell considerably behind schedule. The tour concluded after we viewed the Buddhist statues at Sanjusangendo. Afterward, the guest strolled alone through the garden in front of Sanjusangendo and headed toward Kiyomizu-dera. It was good that their condition seemed to improve in the afternoon.
