I am Yumiko Murakami. I am a certified tour guide of English. Originally, I am from Shizuoka Prefecture. Facing the Pacific Ocean,
Shizuoka is rich in nature with a long coast and mountainous areas. Its most iconic spot is Mt. Fuji, the highest mountain in Japan.
There are scenic and historical sites in Shizuoka, too, including Miho Pine Tree Grove Coast and Hujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine.
Also, I have been involved in guiding the Izu Peninsula Geopark as a certified geo-guide. You could enjoy the Peninsula’s scenic spots from geological or volcanological perspectives. For example, Kawazu-Seven-Waterfalls and Ebisu-jima Island are recommendable.
And I used to live in Tokyo and Kamakura. So, if you prefer to visit major spots in Tokyo such as Tsukiji Outer Market, Imperial East Garden, or Meiji-jingu Shrine, I could deal with your request.
