From there the group visited Asakusa Tourist Center, Sensoji Temple, Asakusa shrine at 11:00, Tsukiji Outer Market, Tsukiji Honganji at 12:30, Ginza Kabukiza, Ginza Six at 14:00, Shibuya Shibuya Crossing, Hachiko at 14:30, Harajuku Meiji Jingu Shrine at 15:30 and Leave Harajuku at 16:50.
Travel between the sites was by public transport: Nippori to Asakusa by train (324JPY); Asakusa to Higashi-Ginza by train (220JPY); Tsukiji to Ginza by train (178JPY); Ginza to Shibuya by train (209JPY); Shibuya to Harajuku by train (146JPY); Harajuku to Shinjuku by train (146JPY). Across 6 sections the fare came to 1,223JPY per person.

The guests were a group visiting Japan from Europe, in town to attend a conference held in Tokyo in September. In Asakusa, after stopping by the tourist information center, we took a full look around Senso-ji Temple and also visited Asakusa Shrine. In Tsukiji, we walked through the outer market and went inside the fish market building, where we had lunch at the food court, enjoying dishes such as tekka-don and a tempura set meal. We then took the subway to Ginza and visited the rooftop garden of Ginza SIX. In Shibuya, we took a break at a Starbucks overlooking the scramble crossing. As a result, by the time we reached Takeshita Street after Meiji Shrine, we had arrived at the scheduled end of the tour. We officially concluded the tour once the guests boarded the Yamanote Line, but afterward I got off at Shinjuku Station and voluntarily showed them the locations of Kabukicho and Golden Gai.

Our guide, Harry, did an excellent job of showing us around Tokyo. He helped us navigate the train and subway systems. Had an excellent Japanese lunch and stopped at good local shopping venues. Harry also arranged which order we should do things in since I didn’t know how far apart the attractions we wanted to see were from each other. No way we could have navigated on our own, very pleased, highly recommend.
