What Can You See on a Private Walking Tour of Tokyo's Traditional Spots? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were visitors from North America who had arrived in Japan the day before, planning about a two-week stay in Japan and intending to continue on to Hakone, Mount Fuji, and Kyoto after Tokyo.
At their request, I guided them without a lunch break through Meiji Shrine, Koishikawa Korakuen Garden, Nezu Shrine, and Yanaka. Although it was already September, it was still very hot, so I advised them to be careful of heatstroke, but they said they were used to the heat where they lived. They actually walked at a fast pace, so we were able to follow the plan as scheduled.
We visited places with a traditional atmosphere, and at various spots they said "Amazing" while listening eagerly to my explanations, looking around with great interest, and taking many photos. After walking from Ginza Station on the subway to near their hotel, they said they could make their way back on their own, so we parted ways there.

Haruhiko was a very friendly and knowledgable guide who enriched our walking tour of the Senso-ji Buddhist temple, Shinto shrine, the Tsukiji outer food market. We had a great day and experienced the train travel on the subways, historic buildings and shops. Highly recommend him as a guide

Haru (Haruhiko Yokota) was a consummate professional from the first comment he made contact with us. He asked for our visit priorities and designed an interesting and engaging tour over the several hours we spent together.
