A Private Local-Spot Tour with a Licensed Guide: What Happens When a Guest Has a Rental Car Problem?

The guest was a visitor from North America. When I went to pick up the guest at the hotel, I learned that the personal rental car had been damaged and that no one had been contacted yet. I immediately contacted the rental car company and the insurance company on the guest's behalf and helped with the accident procedures. Because it took time for the tow truck to arrive, the start of the tour was delayed, but the guest was grateful. After that, the tour went smoothly, and although we visited fewer places than originally hoped, the guest was pleased because we went around many local spots known to residents. That was what the guest had wanted.
