- 08:00 Meet at Kabukiza Theatre (Higashi-Ginza)
- 08:30-10:30 Tsukiji Outer Market, stay, food tasting, etc.
- 10:30-11:30. Stop by Tsukiji Hongwanji, then Tokyo Tower
- 11:30-12:30 Tokyo Tower sightseeing
- 12:00-13:20. Walk to Onarimon, subway to Meiji-jingumae
- 13:20. Disperse at the entrance of Takeshita Street

From there the group visited Tsukiji Outer Market, stay, food tasting, etc. at 08:30, Stop by Tsukiji Hongwanji, then Tokyo Tower at 10:30, Tokyo Tower sightseeing at 11:30, Walk to Onarimon, subway to Meiji-jingumae at 12:00 and Disperse at the entrance of Takeshita Street at 13:20.
Travel between the sites was by public transport: Tsukiji to Kamiyacho by train (178JPY); Onarimon to Meiji-jingumae by train (286JPY). Across 2 sections the fare came to 464JPY per person.

The guests were an international group living in North America who spoke several languages. They had a strong interest in food, so the group sampled items they had wanted to try at Tsukiji, including sweets such as daifuku mochi and smoothies, as well as sashimi. Afterwards, they purchased some plates. Because Tokyo Tower has a connection to structures like the Eiffel Tower, the group requested to visit it, and we did. Since the group planned to travel onward the next day, they wanted to finish the tour early, so we wrapped up ahead of schedule and parted ways in front of Takeshita Street.

Our guide, Kappa-san, modified the typical Hakone tour to accommodate our interests, and is very helpful and knowledgeable. Since the day was very hot (95°F / 35°C) we favored activities that were more shaded or cool, including a walk on a cedar-lined section of the old Tokaido path.

Kappa, our guide met us at the train station and took us all over Kamakura. We saw shrines, the big Buddha, gardens, and the Oceanside! Kappa shared a lot of history about Kamakura, and it was nice to have this background when we were exploring these incredible sites! Highly recommend!
