- 6. 15:20 Shibuya (Scramble Crossing, Hachiko Statue)

What Is a Private Tokyo Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on the Tokyo National Museum and Ueno
The guests were visitors from North America, stopping over in Japan on their way to another destination. Although this was a short stay, they shared that they liked Japan very much and would like to take more time to travel around the country on their next visit.
As part of staying cool from the heat, [Japan Guide Agency (JGA Inc.)](https://www.j-g-a.org/) guided them to the Tokyo National Museum, where they were very pleased to be able to enter for free without lining up at the ticket machine.
At the Tokyo National Museum, the exhibits are of course a highlight, but the ukiyo-e stamp-making experience (second photo) is very popular, and most guests enjoy trying it.
For lunch, the guests requested Japanese cuisine, with a preference for fish and vegetables as well as meat, so I took them to a Japanese restaurant in the Ueno area, which they also enjoyed.

Pleasant Intro to Tokyo
Nobu was an experienced and informative guide. It was a great introduction to Tokyo – a busy and vastly interesting city. We learned about Japanese history and toured some of the major sites including the Imperial gardens, a Buddhist temple, a Shinto shrine, and the bustling Shibuya Crossing. Nobu helped us get familiar with the subway system and explained some of Japanese cuisine. We greatly enjoyed our tour and recommend it to others!
