What Is a Private Tokyo Walking Tour Like in Summer? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests arrived in Japan from North America. They had been told many times by an acquaintance who has visited Tokyo repeatedly that "Tokyo is hot and humid and can be tough," but the actual heat and humidity seemed even greater than they had expected. Inside the Sumida River cruise boat there was a breeze, which made for a nice rest. This time as well, we took many hydration breaks and walked in the shade as much as possible (I plan to get an app that shows shaded areas on the map) to help prevent heatstroke. When I recommended using a parasol, the guests said they would buy one the next day.
