Title: What Is a Private Hiroshima and Miyajima Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were a group visiting Japan from North America. Due to the recent extreme heat and strong sunlight, one of the guests had been troubled by blistering.
At Daishoin Temple, there is a place called Henjokutsu Cave, which serves as a miniature version of the Shikoku pilgrimage course. Inside are enshrined the Diamond Realm Dainichi Nyorai and the Womb Realm Dainichi Nyorai. When explaining these, I find that using Einstein's theory of relativity and quantum mechanics works well, and depending on the guests, they seem to understand it reasonably well.
The Peace Memorial Park was busy with preparations for the memorial ceremony, and combined with the heat, I guided the group only to the areas they wished to see.

Originally, I’m a cycling guide doing cycling tours all over Japan.
But, already done Hiroshima & Miyajima tour more than 400 times.
I traveled many countries in my younger days. I traveled Europe, US, China, India, US, Mexico, Peru Australia, NZ, and so on.
I decided to use this experience to become a guide.
I’m afraid but no tipping required, because cycling guides are not allowed to have tipping in my association. And you do not need to pay for my lunch, because my lunch is prepared by our group.

My wife & I spent a fabulous day with Yuji visiting Miyajima & Hiroshima.. From his greeting to us on our arrival at Hiroshima station to saying good-bye at the same location 8 hours later, he gave us wonderful perspectives of both locations as well as sharing his knowledge of the sights we saw.

Incredible Experience
We had an incredible experience visiting Hiroshima and Miyajima for the first time. Our tour guide, Yuji, made the experience one we will never forget. From start to finish the trip was thoroughly enjoyable. He was very knowledgeable explaining meaning, symbolism, answering questions and went above and beyond to give us the best experience. Yuji really tailored the tour to things we found interesting and made transport with trains and the ferry very easy to navigate- as we did a day trip from Osaka. My husband and I were very fortunate to have Yuji as our guide. Highly recommend this private tour if you are considering Hiroshima and Miyajima!
