I guided a group visiting from North America. The group visited the memorial museum, where one of the guests read the explanatory panels very attentively, so there were times when I waited for them to finish viewing the exhibits. I have guided many visitors before, but most tend to look somewhat bored in memorial museums, so it was rare to meet someone so engaged. According to the group, this person has a strong interest in history and always reads explanatory texts carefully wherever they go, while also being active in sports and balancing both study and athletics. Since the group had a connection to South Asian heritage, I took them to the location with the statue of Gandhi, which they were very pleased to see.

As the group planned to visit Miyajima after lunch, I also explained the transportation to Miyajima and the history of the island.
