What Is a Private Full-Day Tokyo Food and Culture Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were a group visiting from North America. They were especially looking forward to Japanese food, and at Tsukiji they enjoyed sampling a little of many different things. Since they had asked questions about Toyosu in particular, I guided them first to the fish market area early on. At Asakusa, the group had a deep interest in Buddhist culture, and they enjoyed lighting incense at the incense burner themselves and learning the proper way to use the water purification fountain. As some of the guests were selective about food, I guided them to a Japanese restaurant where they could choose dishes such as sushi and tempura, and they were delighted, saying everything was very delicious. At Meiji Shrine, they were amazed by the mystical atmosphere and enjoyed strolling around. They were very pleased and said they were highly satisfied with the tour.
