Title: What Is a Private One-Day Kyoto Tour Like in Summer? A Licensed Guide's Report on Fushimi Inari and Kinkaku-ji

The group had just arrived in Japan the day before, and unfortunately the weather was extremely hot, so they already appeared quite tired by the time we reached Fushimi Inari Taisha. I paced the tour by taking an ice cream break and regularly checking how everyone was holding up. After lunch, when we stepped outside the restaurant it was very hot, so we took a taxi to Kinkaku-ji. At Kinkaku-ji, one of the guests was busy taking photos, while the others seemed to have reached their limit in the heat. Since the group asked to end the tour at their hotel, I suggested taking the bus back so they could sit down and rest, even though it would take a little longer, and we returned by bus. They mentioned that another guest was planning to visit Japan and said they would love for me to guide them as well, and they seemed very satisfied with the tour.

Hi! My name is YUKA. I’ve got the government license in 2018 and joined a half year traning to do the guide. But a half year later I started my carreer, Covid came. I should have given up guiding. During the Covid, I’ve read many books and made my own materials to explain Japanese culture, history, etc. I love guiding because the guests expand my horizon all the time and let me know their own country and culture, etc. It is really important for us all to know each other and respect each other to make this world peace. Thank you for coming to Japan! Let’s enjoy Japan together!
