Title: What's a Private Hiroshima Peace Park and Hiroshima Castle Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

Since messaging apps such as WhatsApp were not to be used for prior communication, I was a little concerned about whether we would be able to meet at the hotel. I waited near the reception before 8:30, and I was relieved when the group came out. To save time, we took two taxis to the Peace Memorial Park, and because it was early in the day, we were able to take our time viewing the museum, which is usually very crowded. The guests had told me they wanted to focus mainly on the Peace Memorial Park, so we spent plenty of time at the museum. We were also able to visit the special exhibition at the National Peace Memorial Hall for the Atomic Bomb Victims, which I had not been able to include with previous guests, and I myself was able to walk calmly through the Peace Memorial Park once again. Since the guests said they did not need to have lunch, we headed to Hiroshima Castle, went inside the Ninomaru and the castle keep, and left Hiroshima Castle at 13:00. As they were taking the 15:00 Shinkansen to Osaka, we caught a taxi in front of the Hiroshima Prefectural Office, and the group returned to the hotel. What impressed me most was how earnestly the entire group viewed the contents of the museum. When I said, "I want you to see not only the tragedy of Hiroshima but also the vibrant Hiroshima of today," they truly agreed, which made me very happy. I am always grateful when guests enjoy the tour.
