What Can You See on a Private History-Focused Tokyo Tour? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were visitors from Europe, visiting Japan for the first time. One of the guests had a strong interest in Japanese history and had a request to see places related to the Meiji Restoration for academic research. To begin, I guided the guests to the Fukagawa Edo Museum so they could learn about life in the Edo period. After that, we visited Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa as requested. We then traveled from Asakusa to Shibuya to see the famous Scramble Crossing. Following that, we paid a visit to Meiji Jingu Shrine. The guests were very satisfied to be able to learn about Japanese history, and I believe they truly enjoyed the tour.
