What Can You See on a Private One-Day Tour of Tokyo? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests arrived in Japan the day before and had no fixed itinerary, so I proposed a route covering Meiji Jingu, Takeshita Street, the Shibuya Scramble Crossing, and the Tsukiji Outer Market. Since the guests wanted to buy a SUICA card, I guided them to the Eki Tabi Concierge Shinjuku Shinminami at the south exit of Shinjuku Station, where sales of the SUICA card have resumed on a limited basis for short-term overseas travelers. As the guests planned to move to Fujikawaguchiko after staying in Tokyo for a few days, I also showed them the adjacent bus terminal, "Busta Shinjuku." Although it was a hot and humid day from the morning, the guests responded with smiles throughout, even to my English dad jokes. Since one of the guests was a big fan of Hokusai, I recommended the Sumida Hokusai Museum, which I have visited many times privately. The guests said they would add it to their itinerary for the next day.
