Title: What Can You See on a Private Family-Style Tokyo Tour? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests visited Japan during the summer holidays, and one of them had lived in Japan in the past and wished for others in the group to experience Japanese history and culture. [Japan Guide Agency (JGA Inc.)](https://www.j-g-a.org/) is one of Japan's largest networks of government-licensed, English-speaking private tour guides, serving all 47 prefectures.
Following the requests received in advance, including a visit to Asakusa, I guided the group to the spots they had hoped to see.
Since I had also heard beforehand that the guests were big fans of Studio Ghibli, on the way to Hamarikyu Gardens we stopped by the "Nittele Large Clock" designed by Hayao Miyazaki, which they were very happy to see.
As the guests had requested ramen for lunch, I took them to a ramen restaurant in Sendagi.
It was a very hot day, but I believe the guests were satisfied throughout the entire tour.

Tokyo is a wonderful city, and you may enjoy this city by yourselves.
Even so, I recommend you go around with a guide, especially if it is your first time visit to Tokyo.

Pleasant Intro to Tokyo
Nobu was an experienced and informative guide. It was a great introduction to Tokyo – a busy and vastly interesting city. We learned about Japanese history and toured some of the major sites including the Imperial gardens, a Buddhist temple, a Shinto shrine, and the bustling Shibuya Crossing. Nobu helped us get familiar with the subway system and explained some of Japanese cuisine. We greatly enjoyed our tour and recommend it to others!
