- 6. 16:00 Shinjuku (Golden Gai, Godzilla Road)
- 7. 16:30 Dismissal at Shinjuku
What Can You See on a Private Tokyo Tour? A Licensed Guide's Report on Meiji Shrine, Sushi, and Shinjuku
I guided the guests based on the requests they had shared in advance. Although it was a little hot, we were blessed with good weather, and I believe they were fully satisfied. At Meiji Shrine, we happened to come across a wedding ceremony, which delighted them greatly (at Meiji Shrine, you can usually see a wedding ceremony if you visit on a weekend). Since they had requested sushi for lunch, I took them to a sushi restaurant in Shinjuku, but as it was a Saturday it was busier than usual and we had to wait about 20 minutes. Even so, they were able to experience a typical Japanese sushi restaurant, and combined with the friendliness of the staff, they were very pleased. Finally, I showed them Golden Gai and Godzilla Road, and we ended the tour in Shinjuku. It was a relaxing experience to guide these guests.

Pleasant Intro to Tokyo
Nobu was an experienced and informative guide. It was a great introduction to Tokyo – a busy and vastly interesting city. We learned about Japanese history and toured some of the major sites including the Imperial gardens, a Buddhist temple, a Shinto shrine, and the bustling Shibuya Crossing. Nobu helped us get familiar with the subway system and explained some of Japanese cuisine. We greatly enjoyed our tour and recommend it to others!
