Title: What Is a Private Miyajima and Hiroshima Walking Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were visitors from Europe. They enjoyed sampling various foods while walking around Omotesando, and on the way back they also enjoyed a Miyajima beer. It was an onigiri picnic surrounded by deer while looking at the Great Torii Gate. Since they did not take a set lunch break, and because their choices, decisions about souvenirs and food, and movements were quick, the itinerary proceeded smoothly. At the museum, it was impressive that they spent a lot of time carefully reading the final section on the technical explanation of nuclear development, a spot where many people tend to move quickly. After the tour, I gave them some information about Toukasan, one of Hiroshima's summer festivals, before we parted ways.

Hello! My name is Miyoko Akashi, and I’d be delighted to be your guide. I’ve been working as a tour guide for eight years.
I was born in Nagoya and have lived in Hiroshima for about 40 years, so I know the Seto Inland Sea region very well.
Before becoming a guide, I taught English, mainly to high school students, for many years and was actively involved in international exchange programs.
In my free time, I enjoy photography and running. I’ve traveled all over Japan to take photographs and participate in marathon races, and I always enjoy discovering new places and meeting new people.
I look forward to sharing the beauty, history, and culture of this wonderful region with you.
