- 5. 12:10: Sakaimachi Street stroll (lunch time along the way)
- 6. 14:50: Otaru Canal stroll
- 7. 15:05: Disband @ Otaru Port
Title: What Is a Private One-Day Otaru Tour Like from the Port? A Licensed Guide's Report
Body: The private one-day tour started at 9:00, but since most facilities near the port were not yet open at that hour, I suggested visiting Mt. Tengu Observatory (which opens at 9:00) by taxi as our first stop. The weather was excellent, and the view from the observatory was spectacular, which the guests greatly enjoyed. Afterward, I guided them along the former Temiya Line and the former Bank of Japan Otaru Branch, explaining the history of Otaru's past prosperity. At both Mt. Tengu and Sakaimachi Street, there were many international visitors who appeared to be cruise ship travelers. Although Otaru is famous for sushi restaurants and seafood cuisine, the guests did not prefer that kind of food.

Super Sapporo in April with Tom.
Tom was kind enough to meet at our hotel to start the tour and then sat with us to make sure we saw the best of Sapporo that was available to us on the day. We even managed some Cherry Blossom which was an unexpected bonus.
Tom ensured we got to Sapporos highest view away from any crowds and navigated our route brilliantly. He left us at the Sapporo Brewery for us to drink and eat in our own time. We wish Tom sincere thanks for a great day in Sapporo.

We had a wonderful city tour with Tom in Sapporo! He was very knowledgeable about Hokkaido’s history and culture and had a lot of great stories to share. He was extremely friendly and patient as well. Highly recommend booking a tour with Tom if you want to see Sapporo’s highlights in a day! He also does tours further out of Sapporo city center.
