What Is a Private Family Tour of Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were a group visiting Japan for the first time from North America. Since enjoying delicious Japanese food was one of the goals of their trip, they were very satisfied with lunch in that respect. Although it was a simple set meal at a Japanese restaurant, the guests were deeply impressed by the healthy, nutritionally balanced content and the wonderful flavors, sighing in admiration several times. In fact, some of the guests asked for a second helping of miso soup. From this focus on health, the conversation flowed lively into topics such as Japan's medical insurance system, its aging society, and healthcare costs. Due to bad weather and heavy rain in the afternoon, we had to give up the visit to Tokyo Tower that had been planned for the end, but when I saw them off at their hotel, they seemed tired yet very satisfied.
