From there the group visited Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine at 9:20, Sanjusangendo Temple at 11:10, Nanohana (Ryoanji Temple Grounds) at 12:40, Kinkakuji Temple at 13:30 and Nishiki Market Dismissal at 15:00.
Title: What's a Private Kyoto Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Fushimi Inari, Sanjusangendo, and Kinkaku-ji
The guests were a group visiting from North America. It was their first time in Japan, and they had already visited Arashiyama, Gion, Kiyomizu-dera, and Nijo Castle. At Fushimi Inari Taisha there were many tourists, but they were delighted to find opportunities to take plenty of photos. At Sanjusangendo, they viewed the many Buddhist statues slowly and with great interest. For lunch, the restaurant near Kinkaku-ji that I had planned on was extremely crowded, so at the driver's suggestion we quickly changed plans and had udon and soba at a restaurant within the grounds of Ryoan-ji, which I believe they enjoyed. They had been very much looking forward to Kinkaku-ji, and thanks to good timing they were able to take many photos, which I believe made them very happy.

We spent half a day with Kaeko Tanigawa taking us to Daitoku-ji and Kinkaku-ji temples and Nijo castle in Kyoto. She is very nice, customer-oriented and knowledgeable about Japanese culture and history.

Kaeko Tanigawa was fantastic at helping us create a tour that worked for our family with two young children. It was a very hot day, but the air conditioned van was perfect. We loved making ramen together, feeding monkeys, and seeing a few top sites of Kyoto.

Kyoto Private Tour
Kaeko was absolutely amazing from start to finish, and my husband and I had the best time with her during our honeymoon in Kyoto in April! She reached out well before our trip to get to know our interests and carefully planned an itinerary that was perfectly tailored to us—even helping us choose the perfect lunch spot.
