What Is a Rainy-Day Private Tour of Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The morning began with rain, and since there were signs of improvement by the afternoon, I suggested visiting the Tokyo National Museum in the morning, which the guests agreed to. As the guests were interested in Japanese history and culture, they explored the museum with great enthusiasm. Since the guests had requested sushi for lunch, I took them to a sushi restaurant located underground at Tokyo Station, which they were delighted with. At Hamarikyu Gardens, since one of the guests seemed a little tired, I had them rest at a rest area while I guided the group. (Continued in the extended time.)

Pleasant Intro to Tokyo
Nobu was an experienced and informative guide. It was a great introduction to Tokyo – a busy and vastly interesting city. We learned about Japanese history and toured some of the major sites including the Imperial gardens, a Buddhist temple, a Shinto shrine, and the bustling Shibuya Crossing. Nobu helped us get familiar with the subway system and explained some of Japanese cuisine. We greatly enjoyed our tour and recommend it to others!
